The Cafe Louvre, on Narodni Avenue, is one of the landmarks of Prague's cultural life.
Opened in 1902, Cafe Louvre continuously served as a meeting place of all the literary and science leaders of the Czech Republic.
Amongst its famous visitors were author Franz Kafka, psychologist Josef Eisenmeyer, composer Max Brod and physicist Albert Einstein.
It is the only Cafe whose waiters still wear a black tuxedo and newspapers are offered on old time reading wood poles.
