T-33 Shooting Star (Thunderbird), U.S. Air Force, TR-591.
The plane was manufactured in 1948 by Lockheed and first flown in 1948. The T-33 was the US first jet training aircraft.
It was also known by the nickname "Widowmaker", due to several crash accidents.
The permanent plane's home is Palm Springs Air Museum.
