I will hazard that it is a green crayon seen point first, standing vertically on your red filter and way out of focus, or, maybe a green jelly cup!

Love the picture, the use of the two colours is great. What is it? No real idea, although we have some hanging glass tea-light holders which look something like this......but I do not see you as a tea-light holder type of man :)
