20120911 - Sheepy Safari

When in doubt...

Yesterday's drippy rose piccy broke my camera again - almost exactly a year since the last time! It got wet and the screen went off. Fortunately an hour-or so in front of a fan with the back panel removed followed by a clean of the contacts seems to have fixed it. Phew.
The rain cover was on though, it didn't get a lot of water in it this time compared to last... I think the connection between the camera and the screen is the problem. Can't find a part number for that tho...

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM

Hmmm, perhaps you need underwater housing for your poor old dear...even sheepie seems to have some words of advise to you!!

Is she passing comment on your composition/framing etc? You need a bin bag to keep your camera dry, they work far better than any rain jacket!

there's a quandry...what exactly failed...Madame seems to be caught in deep deliberation..it all seems a bit woolly at the moment..

Time to splash out on a MK 111.
Is she singing?

She seems to have had one too many tipples and is definitely under the influence.
Hope the camera recovers.

What a great expression, you are very brave to take the camera apart.

Excellent shot. It's a pity camera makers don't make them totally water and dust proof!

Is it doing semaphore with it's ears?
