20110921 - Barn

Well, the new LCD screen for the camera has been ordered...
It's sort of good having it not working - you have to think more about the piccy before you take it, guess how much extra or less exposure you might need based on the scene, then plug it in before taking the shot rather than taking a shot then having a look at the pic/histogram and then taking it again.
It'll be a relief to be able to see again though... shooting with nd-grads is a bit hit'n'miss without being able to see what's happened. If I did it properly and sorted the exposure without a grad in place first and then put the it on, it'd probably be ok, but I'm not that patient :o)

Seems like only yesterday, back in the film days, when shooting without a screen was what we did ALL the time. It is amazing how we begin to rely on technology. Nice shot, this ... even without an LCD. V
