20110515 - Gigabytes Down the Pan

We had a strange urge to try some sportography as there was a cycle race on.
Unfortunately, I've never really tried it before - and it took about 20 cyclists even to realise we should be in Tv rather than Av! Then there was the drive mode, the focus mode, the shutter speed, remembering to turn off the image stabiliser as it's not a sporty type lens...
Completely out of my depth! I daren't count how many cyclist photos I have, but it must be over a hundered. Two are what I'd call acceptably sharp. This is one of them!
I'm sure the old 5D breathed a sigh of relief when I finally took it out of 'sport' mode :o)
