20100110 - McBiscuit

MonoMonth

So, there I was shooting 'the big thaw': a dripping icicle outside my bedroom window. All of a sudden 'thud' - my icicle had thawed right off :o( I hadn't got a decent shot of it either.

It was time for a nice cup of tea and a biccy... oooh! Actually I've been eying up these Tunnocks Teacakes for a while with their red-and-foil wrappers :o)

Before that, I uploaded another shot from yesterday, when we were in a non-thaw type situation :o)

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
1/200s f/11.0 at 100.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Any image with Scotland and large amounts of sugar is fine by me :-) The advantage of living in China is there aren't any of these temptations for me...

I used to love these teacakes when I was a lad. Still do, but I never seem to get the chance anymore.
Excellent evocative image.
