20091114 - Shot in the Dark

Apart from a couple of high-ISO shots to see what I was likely to get and to see what sort of exposure I'd likely need, this is the only one I did. But it got too cloudy towards the end of the exposure again. If I'd gone a little bit later it would've cleared up.

Night in front of the telly with cake and beer lies ahead...

An amazing sunset shot. Beautiful colors and nice outline of what looks like old walls. V

Never been beyond 10 minutes myself - this is really pushing the boundaries and it's quite compelling if not eerie!!BV

1293 seconds is....22 minutes. That's enough time to leg it down the Coach and Horses and get a swift one in! Gorgeous fiery sky...superbly done! (Mmmm, beer and cake...nomnomnomnomnomnonm)

you had time for a short nap during this long exposure..the effect is powerful...that's a smouldering sky, an ominous crumbling wall. and star trails like meteors...very impressive...V

Almost 22 minutes? I hope you were rugged up.
Fantastic result.

You are creating your own version of star trek.

A stellar addition on the Nocturnal November theme.
TV, cake, and beer sounds great to me...have a lovely evening, Phillip.

With that exposure time you only had time for one, A cracker Phil. Im not sure it would have been beter without the clouds, its made the sky a great colour.

Stunning night shot, you only needed one attempt, this is perfect.
