20091103 - Trailing

Well, this could've gone better. Too much cloud - and I even got rained on!! Sheesh.

This seems to be turning into a 'Nocturnal November'. Probably won't last - it'll be too cold soon and not moony enough!

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
1005s f/5.6 at 24.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I think this is sublime, Phillip. No need to knock this one, that's for sure. Great colors between the green and blue. The white separating the two acts as a perfect divider and provides some nice gradients in the sky. The trails in the sky add more interest, while the foreground tree and distant barn/house round out the very fine composition. Good work!

It looks fine, the light from the moon has made a great burst of light for the background

I've just been doing my sums to find out how long one thousand and five seconds are. Wow. This is dedication, and great use of the tripod!

Coooooooool!!! I love the milky creamy clouds in the background, they set off the sharper trails nicely...
