20090106 - Kindling

Keeping the home fires burning :)

Quick'n'dirty tonight after yesterday's complicated (more than I thought!) shot. Notice I kept the toffee wrapper (as in - no, that's not fire) - must buy some more, just for the coloured wrappers you understand ;-)

Coloured flash at the back, reflected low-power at the front.

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
1/200s f/11.0 at 100.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

This amazes me. I have so much to learn!

A warm looking fire that won't heat you! How cool is that? :>)

Wait...what? This is pretty though I'm at a complete loss...

I think I need a shot of your cosy fire as my screen saver to help me feel warmer haha.

Great image...looks a complicated set up to me though!

maybe Máire will share some of her blue wrappers.. then the fire would be hotter (If I remember my high school physics properly)

Your kindling must last a long time...lighting it that way ;-0 Very warming shot1

Sounds complicated enough for me!

That's a strange way to stack kindling to light a fire...is this a special "woodburner" technique??
