Alright, so the novelty egg-cup wasn't that obvious!! This one must be?! At least I found some green :)

the edge makes me think it's a frame of some kind but it isn't easy at all to guess (because I'm no good at guessing, have you noticed! LOL)

Looks like a door panel, or a dado rail at a slant. But then I don't think you'd make anything that easy for us, so it may well be a special casket for the family heirlooms.
