The NZ dollar makes purchases cheap - about 1.80 per US dollar. So my $26/day internet connection will be somewhere around $15.

We walked down to the wharf blindly and had lunch at a restaurant not mentioned in Sheri's Fodor's - CinCin. The food was good but Sheri got a little queasy up in the Space Needle which overlooks Auckland from 280 meters. That didn't stop her from inquiring about breakfast on the way back to the hotel at a restaurant in an alley. The Vancouver-born waiter convinced her that's where we would be going. Maybe it was the Starbuck's coffee and muffin that helped her.
