16_11_05 Glass Bottoms

Slightly more creative tonight thankfully! I'm still in a rather weird 'limbo' type of mood at the minute ... D-Day for finding out whether I'm still to be employed or not is mid next week and hopefully once I know (either way) I can finally get rid of this feeling of ***blah***

I'm finding it hard to light my shots how I'd like to ... with no proper studio lighting I have to make do with either the lights under our kitchen cupboards (non movable) or the desk lamp (tends to be a bit harsh and never results in White shots looking white ... think I'm gonna try a couple of ideas to make some home made studio lighting ...

Funny, I think I have the same glasses. Bought six of them at some point for PAD the first time around and used them only a couple of times. I buy way too many things because I think they make good PADs. LOL. Anyhow, I like your shot. For the white, that's what Photoshop is for ;) or custom white-balance (I never remember to use it, unfortunately). Or, even best, use the tint as a feature in your shot. Hang in there until you hear about your work one way or the other. Either way it'll be a relief that the suspense is over...

Good luck with the lighting woes (and the work woes!) Would love to hear what you come up with. Its feeling like a long winter already and not sure how I'm going to keep up with the photo a day now that it gets dark so early!
