My Memorial Day does not come on the last Monday of the Month of May, it comes the next day. I spend the true Memorial Day working hard, and hopefully showing the vets we meet what they mean to us, and helping to remember those who we can no longer thank in person. But My Memorial day is the next day, the day I remember all of those folks who labor with me for 16 or so weeks every year, those folks who came before me, and who will come after me.
