A very quiet evening, when all you can hear was a duck paddling gently on the water.
For a mile around you, it seemed there was not a soul.
Yet, once in a while, there was a distant bird chirping somewhere.
Underneath the water were fish, tadpoles, microbes, worms, etc, all teeming in a microcosm of busy life ...
Very often, what we see with our own good eyes, is only but just the surface!
Here, from what i could remember from that evening, the loneliness was hardly lonely at all!
