Fleet week, 2007!

It was a gorgeous day. I was on a boat in the middle of the San Francisco bay, by the Golden Gate Bridge, floating among hundreds of other boats...

And so suddenly, unannounced, they came! The US Navy Blue Angels, true to form, were ROARRRRRRing just overhead, they went on and on, back and forth, up and down, from afar and just overhead! And my ears are still ringing!

My very, very DEEP appreciation go to the PILOTS, and to the thousands of engineers--aeronautical and others-- who made this spectacle possible before my eyes!
