Welcome to the photo site of the Prince George Photographic Society (PGPS). We are located in the City of Prince George, Province of British Columbia, Canada. For more information on us please go to our website at

Who We Are
We are interested in all forms of photography, including black & white prints, colour prints, slides, digital technology, and the use of computers to enhance our photo taking experience. We like to participate in national and regional photo competitions, and we try to get "out in the field" as often as we can. We share our knowledge of cameras, lenses, filters, flashes and accessories, photographic techniques, and computers. We are open to suggestions from members / attendees regarding meeting agendas and field trips. Our members span the range from beginners to experts who make their living from photography.
Meetings
The Prince George Photographic Society meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, from September through June, at the First Baptist Church, on the corner of 5th and Harper (next to PGI Foods). Meetings start at 7:00 PM, and they usually last 2 hours. Visitors are welcome. Please check the Announcements page regularly to see if there are any exceptions to the schedule; sometimes we might go on a field trip instead of holding a regular meeting. No meetings are held in July and August, however we may get together informally for field trips.
Membership Fees
Fees are only $25.00 per year, payable in September. Come and try us out free of charge for a few meetings, and see if the Society is right for you. For new members, your first year's fees will be one of the followng:
* If you join between September and December: $25.00
* If you join between January and June: $15.00
* No new memberships are accepted in July and August, since there are no formal club activities in the summer.
