Electric Generating Wind Farms south of Sweetwater to Abilene,Texas

Multiple windfarms along a row of bluffs that are south of Sweetwater cover an area of at least 15 miles in length and up to a couple miles in width. The farms have thousands of these electric generating windmills that start producing electricity at wind speeds that would be considered just a mild breeze. These groups of windmills is considered the largest group of wind generated power sources in the world per ABC news report on April 20,2007. Each tower is over 240 ft tall and the blades are over 100 ft long with the blades being made of fiberglass covering a balsa wood frame.
