Trinity Site at White Sands Missile Range

The Trinity Site, location of the first atomic bomb blast, is open to the public two days a year and these are a few shots taken in Oct of 2009 on the fall open site day. They also include pictures of the part of Jumbo that still exists, it was a possible containment vessel to set the bomb off in, the ranch house where final assembley was performed, and one of the unmanned observation stations at 8800 yards from the site.
