Some of the people who were at the afternoon action showed up on the Capital steps and others joined them in speaches and later a march down Congress to the River to symbolically throw tea into Ladybird Lake just west of the Congress Street Bridge. About 3,500 people arrived for the march while earlier the numbers were around 1500 at the Capital steps and grounds.
