PETA's "I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign or 'FUR- OUT, LOVE- IN'

Dallas, Texas -- PETA’s internationally renowned "I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign will hit Dallas tomorrow, when PETA’s bevy of sexy nude activists will climb into a giant bed and hold signs that read, "Fur—Out, Love—In," to take their message of compassion in fashion to consumers for Valentine’s Day.
PETA wants consumers to know that animals trapped for fur suffer excruciating pain—often for days—before their chests are stomped on or their necks are broken by trappers. Beavers caught in underwater traps for their fur struggle frantically before drowning. On fur farms, animals spend their entire lives in tiny, filthy cages, where they suffer physical and psychological distress before they are killed by poisoning, gassing, anal electrocution, or neck-breaking. In China, the world’s leading fur exporter, animals on unregulated fur farms are sometimes skinned alive. Millions of dogs and cats are killed in China for the international fur trade—their fur can wind up anywhere in the world, because it is often intentionally mislabeled as fur from other species.

"Compassion is a big turn-on, but fur-wearers leave me cold," says valentine vixen and PETA member Joanne Sim. "By showing some of our skin, we hope to save animals’ skins."
