Found out that about 90% of all snakes brought in are males for the last couple of years. The gentelman takes a small wire tool and places it into the vent of the snake, if it won't go in far it is a female while if it easily goes in it is a male. They also are noting how many stripes are on the end of the tale before the rattles start, they are working on a theory of number of these stripes and what the sex is of the snake.
