Lee Harvey Oswald heads east on Patton Street, guess he is trying to get to Jefferson but decides to take some side streets to draw less attention. Most of the Businesses on Beckley and Davis were shops and offices while Jefferson had more retail and the Texas Theatre on it though all the streets back then would have had a reasonable amount of foot traffic.
What is odd is that Lee had picked up a bus transfer pass before he hailed the taxi and he had several places that he could have grabbed a bus to get down to Jefferson but I guess he was either in a rush or the busses were running a slow schedule that day.
