The entrance is on the right side of the picture and has been closed to public entry for many years now the newer addition to the old Dallas City Hall was added in the 1950's to the 1913 period building that held the Dallas Police Headquarters at the time.

Jack Ruby's Carousell Club was about 8 blocks or so up the street towards the County Courthouse from this side of City Hall.
