It is believed that Clyde worked for A+K Auto Top Company for some time in the 1920's. Ford had a manufacturing plant just two blocks over on Canton on the same block (known as the ADAMS HAT BUILDING) and Chevrolet had built an assembly plant at 3221 Commerce St which was one block over and a couple blocks down.
