The location now is an IBM office building which is right behind the new Dallas Police Headquarters and this was about 2 blocks down from the Lamar address. There was a trolley running down Lamar to Downtown Dallas at the time and her mother was a seamstress/piece worker who had a job for some time at a Milenary at Jackson and Wood in downtown.
