People from 24 different states and 3 other countries arrived at Camp Casey 3 in Crawford Texas with Cindy Sheehan to protest the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan or to Document the people protesting.

The weather was not cooperating Saturday when the tempeture fell to 31 degrees with winds gusting past 20 mph and almost 2 inches of snow fell over major parts of the area, the snowfall broke records dating back to the 1930's. I was there and able to document Fridays and most of Saturdays activities at Camp Casey, at Checkpoints One and Two to the Western Whitehouse and then in a small hall in McGregor where some of the planned activites for Saturday had to be moved to because of the turn in the weather and also because large parts of Camp Casey 3 had been under 6+ inches of water just the weekend before from torrential rains that hit the area that week before causing creeks that had been bone dry just weeks before to over-run their banks.

President Bush made no statements, that I heard of, nor sent any representatives to speak to Cindy or the people with her when they were at the check points other than his usual Secret Service Staff members.
