There is an election coming up in May if the taxpayers want to foot the bill on it or not but someone is already doing demolition and excavation work on the site. Also nothing on the permits about water but there are a bunch of pipes on site to be put in. ($7,000+ to put up a fence? $300,000 for demolition and excavation down to 12 feet--off of the permits). So taxpayers are already into this for over $500,000 since the city paid an outrageous fee for the land and archetural work plus the above fees).

Well the hotel was approved by the voters and as of June 5,2010 it was already 13 stories tall- looks to be about 25 stories total per the images on the walls surrounding the project. This is a BILLION $ plus Hotel. Omni will manage it.
