Crop of three images taken with 58mm f/1.2 Rokkor
The center image was with the lens alone with custom AF mount adapter without optics
The left image was with the same lens mounted on the Haoda MD/AF adapter
The right image was taken with the same lens mounted on a Kalt/Rokunar/7000/9000 adapter from 1990
While it appears that the Haoda adapter is slightly better than the Kalt, this difference is likely due to focus error.
On the uncropped images, attenuated light fall off is very apparent as is a general softness and "glow". This gradually is reduced as the lens is stopped down to about f/8 which is about the best performance whith these adapters.
All images taken with the lens wide open at f/1.2
I have a complete series from wide open at one stop intervals from wide open to f/8.
