Check the exif. The light was really dim.
1/15 sec handheld at 150mm, 1600 ISO, one stop down
The "Canon Guy" hogging the closest spot to the opening blossom
had his uber plastic thing on a tripod and must have had a really
ugly view with the modern building reflected in the water.
I on the other hand shot where I pleased sideways through some shrubbery
getting this view with a much better background.

20 year old Maxxum 70-210 f/4.. Love this lens.
