Rear Group Cell3007.jpg

The rear group is a more or less sealed unit and does not usually require disassembly.
Front and back surfaces can be cleaned easily.

The rear group dell is only accessible from the rear.
See the cross section here;

The front two elements are permanently mounted to the tube so the rear of this pair must
be cleaned from the back.
You will need to use a properly sized spanner on the retaining ring slots or improvise a tool to remove the retaining ring. there is also a snap ring retaining the second element at the rear. Also note the mylar baffle in the center of the tube which is permanently affixed which may also hinder cleaning of the front pair rear.

Hope this helps,

Pete

I want to clean the inside surface of the forward most element in this group. Is it possible?
