Injection mold used to make Dimage remote connectors. Keyway is formed from half a piece of 14 gauge copper wire soldered to the inside. Mold has a slight taper to the back.
Mold is brushed with vegetable oil to provide release
from the mold. After injection, the bottom plate is removed and the cooled
casting is pulled back out of the mold.
