Slot that forms the interior ridge is cut with a cut off wheel (Dremel) Check slot width by using lens bayonet lugs as a gauge. Depth of slot is approx. 1.5 mm from cutting edge, but again, check on lens lugs as a gauge. Provide slight relief to slot edges by expanding opening slightly away from cutting edge.
