Adapter fits with a quarter turn on the exterior lugs on the D-7.
Turned from PVC tubing. Outer edge is slotted with clamping screw to grip front ring of 50mm lens.
Fits front to front with D-7 filter ring to reduce vignetting.
f/1.4 was used because of large front element which reduces vignetting.
