On lens 0003.jpg

To use the scale, marks on the front of the zoom ring correspond
to the 18mm, 24, 28, 35mm focal lengths.

The center line focuses the lens to the hyperfocal distance
at the corresponding mark for each focal length.

Lines and numbers shown on right and left correspond to close distances at f/8 or f/16 respectively
for the 18, 24 and 35mm focal lengths.

Nice solution! I want to apply this. On which CoC are you basing your scale?
