A Walk Through the Colosio

I had always wanted to do some street photography outside of the touristy core of Playa del Carmen.

When I asked, I was told to go to the Colosio. So I did.

Those four hours turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life!

I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Thank you Phillip for your beautiful images. We didn't get to Playa Del Carmen this year. But we'll be back ... again and again. They are amazing people, and like you I have never felt afraid there. Of course I don't hang out with drunken tourists, that would be scarey!

"Angel in the Heart" is my favorite! "Curly Toes" is my 2nd favorite. Really great photos, Phil! The photos really make me want to spend some time exploring when we are they next month. We will have to drag ourselves away from Barcelo, but I am sure it will be well worth it.

I absolutely love 'ANGEL IN THE HEART'. Your photos are wonderful. I can feel Mexico when I look at these. They touched my heart. You take pictures the way I like to !! I love all the pics of the people. Makes you wonder what they are thinking.
