We stayed at the Barceló Maya Colonial Beach resort, a few minutes south of the town of Puerto Aventuras on the Riviera Maya.

We had stayed at a sister resort, the Barceló May Beach, in 2005 so we knew that we could expect the same quality from the Colonial. We were not disappointed.
