Unfortunately, the snorkeling and the scuba were very limited while we were there.

The high winds we experienced for most of our two weeks resulted in very poor visibility.

The off-shore scuba excursions were cancelled or were limited to fresh water cenote dives.

These pictures were taken snorkeling off the Barceló pier on our second last day. The previous day had been calm which helped a bit but the wind and the waves had picked up again by the time I snorkeled.

Excuse the poor quality. The pictures were taken, in less than perfect conditions, with a disposable camera, developed and then scanned to CD in JPEG.

I tried to rescue them as much as I could.

I'm happy the ones of the ray turned out enough so you can see it.
