On Thursday we left Auckland and drove through beautiful scenery, stopped for a visit at the
Waitomo Glowworm Caves where we had a tour of the limestone chambers and a silent boat trip throught the glowworm grotto. Then we headed to Rotorua and visited Te Puia, Rotorua's thermal area with New Zealand's largest geyser and boiling mud pools. In the evening we attended a Hangi Dinner and an authentic Maori concert.
