Mount Cook National Park

It was difficult to say goodby to Queenstown....but on Monday we headed to Mount Cook National Park, named after New Zealand's highest peak. Paul, our driver told us that only three percent of people who come to the park can see Mount Cook. It is usually shrouded in clouds. We had a gorgeous day. On the road we stopped several times. Paul told us the lake was such a beautiful color because of minerals from the glaciers....it was so unbelievably blue, and so gorgeous.
I couldn't decide which photos to share....so I'm sharing a bunch!

Then we drove to Lake Tekapo to view the lovely Church of the Good Shepherd
and crossed the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch. I never saw so many sheep in my entire life.
