John had a massive stroke in June of 2002. He was hospitalized and in rehab for more than eight months and returned home in February of 2003. The old adage is true, "There's no place like home". He has improved daily, with more therapy, at home and out-patient, a great home health nurse and great caregivers. He is still fighting, and as I always say when asked: "With God's help we are thriving and surviving!"
