On the road to Mount Cook National Park

This photo was taken on the way to Mount Cook National Park. I can't remember the name of this lake, but the color was amazing. Our driver explained that the color was because of minerals from the glaciers.
He also told us that only three percent of people who visit Mount Cook get to see it.
It is usually shrouded in clouds. We were blessed with a clear, gorgeous day.
One more day in the New Zealand photos and I get to start on my images of Australia. I can hardly wait!

I can hardly wait to see your Australia pics. This is gorgeous. When we tried to see it it was cloud covered. Now, I know what I missed!

Very nice capture Petesie. We have or have not seen many mountains because of clouds. We will just have to go back and try again. gmv

Very beautiful shot, Petesie. Mountains shrouded in clouds was the story of much of my drive through the Pacific Northwest a couple years ago, so you were indeed blessed.
