It was difficult to select a photo for today….I started the day at the flag raising ceremony at the Veteran’s Memorial Park at the Emily Ann Theater.
The parade was at 10:00….it started raining at the beginning,
then stopped and started again as the parade ended.
The photo below shows Kate patiently waiting.
Then I headed to the Lion’s Field Pavilion where the Jubilee had been
relocated to be under cover…thank goodness.
I sang with the chorus and then the bottom fell out.
Rain, rain, rain, buckets of rain while the Community Band performed.
A wonderful Independence Day celebration in spite of the rain.
Perhaps I’ll be able to see the fireworks from my back porch tonight.

By the way, I’m loving the new lens so far.
