My yard

Today my photo club went on a field trip to the San Antonio Botanical Center. I had planned on
going, but at the last minute decided to stay home and work. I did get so much done and was able
to take two photos. Both of this little doe. Note the green grass...this week there is a prediction of 60% rain each day until Wednesday. Out aquifers are full, our lakes are full, and our grass is so green. I do not have a lawn, just a wildscape and even it is pretty this year. The temperatures have been about ten degrees below the average for June. I am loving it!

I would think this little lady has enough to eat without coming up on my deck and feasting on my pentas and hibiscus, but no such luck.

Beautiful animal! You can almost hear her thinking, "Why settle for boring grass when one can feast on delicacies such as pentas and hibiscus?" :)
Glad to hear water levels down there have recovered. Was sure dry when I were there last winter.

So happy for you getting that rain...we both know the importance of getting those tanks & waterways filled. Cute little visitor.

Wonderful catch! Yes, we have had plenty of rain too and although it has been warm, it hasn't been too hot! I'm so glad you got this shot! Love the green everything!
