I headed to Cypress Creek hoping to find something interesting. There were a
few ducks, but it was cold and windy and they were smart and stayed on the shore except
for this one. I thought perhaps I could take photos of the cypress trees
reflected in the water, but it was too choppy today.

Wonderful light and details on this Muscovy duck. His red reflection in nice, too. The Muscovy is noted for that red mask with the thick knob on the nose.

I see these ducks around here a lot. Let me go get my book....Can't find in that one. I think I remember they are an asian import. Oh yeah, nice shot!
