American Painted Lady

I promise when the butterflies are gone I will become creative....but for now
I just cannot resist. The coastal mistflower is still blooming profusely, so is
the Copper Canyon Daisy....click next to see it...

I liked this one because of the lighting. Except for a crop and resizing,
this was the way it came out of the camera.

This really is special - I agree, the lighting is beautiful, and the darkness on the right side of the frame enhances the light and color even more. Lovely shot, all around.

Love the butterfly and that pretty flower. The butterfly looks poised to take off on a vast journey.
