Our photo club and the San Marcos Greenbelt Alliance sponsored a photo contest...I entered five
images and four were accepted. I didn't expect any awards because I was not excited about any of my
entries. After seeing the exhibit last night I was just happy that they had accepted four of
mine. Wow, there were some great entries. However, one of mine received honorable mention in the
"Pets and People" division. I was especially happy because my grandson was there, and it was a photo of him...... "Why Granny Has Gray Hair" that received the honor. My first contest and my first
award. Makes me want to work hard for next year!
