After a nice outdoor breakfast with my son, I stopped by the nursery.
I didn't buy any plants. (you have to be a little bit crazy to plant anything
in this area this late in the summer.)This begonia was a beauty and the
hosta below was in bloom. I didn't know hostas bloomed until I saw a photo
in a PaD gallery. They are beautiful, but I always thought they didn't like hot weather.

What a soft shade of pink! I didn't know hostas bloomed either and bought one just like that at the Farmer's Market.

Just love this one, Petesie. The softness is striking.
My hostas are the only thing blooming -except the ones eaten by some creature.

I have these in a couple of containers in the back yard . . . the hosta are blooming like crazy . . . .I figured hosta could grow anywhere . . . lovely shots petesie =]
