THE BEAUTY OF IMPERFECTION.....

Sometimes I like to enjoy the imperfect flowers....

Since the Purple Martins have left I am seeing a few more butterflies. Today I saw several varieties, but most weren't interested in having their picture taken!

I think I like the imperfect ones best. They are what they are and no one ever (except for the bugs) bothers with them. This is great Petesie.

All my flowers get eaten up very quickly because I never do anything to detract the pests.

Rather battered and torn, but still beautiful....it's nice to admire the "differences" in this world, rather than just the "perfect" subjects, sometimes.

Wonderful detail, Petesie.

I agree. Without imperfection life's perfect things would go unnoticed. Speaking of perfect things....this image is perfect.

Great macro, and it looks like you are feeding a lot of insects.

Lovely pictures. I find that happening to my flowers but in my case it is the rain drops (raining practically every day) left on the flowers after a strong sun comes out in the afternoon and actually burning the petals like they are little magnifying glasses.

That poor flower has been breakfast for several insects, hasn't it??? :)
