I let my daughter make the call....black and white or color.
Her favorite was the black and white.

I was babysitting last night and at sunset snapped a couple of
photos of Granddaughter Kate and her cat, Tasha.

Lovely silhotted B&W. Nicely done!

This is so sweet!! Very nice!!

I never said it was foreboding or occult imagery...I just thought it was interesting and it was the FIRST thing I noticed.

I really like this shot.

Oh, I see the skull too. That doesn't forebode anything bad because if you look long enough you can also a boat, Daisy Duck, a Viagra tablet and two chipmunks fighting over a french fry. So much for occult imagery.
;^)

Hi mom. I'll get some pics up from my trip with Trav. Had a great time.
Steve Hartman 03-Jul-2005 04:22
Am I the only one who noticed the skull in the clouds right above her head?

Lovely image

Beautiful silhouette. Not to differ with your daughter, but I think the color is more dramatic, the cloud a stronger element.

I'm really having a hard time deciding which one I like best, but I think it's the color. The pink hues seem to suggest "girl", "sunset", "summertime", "childhood", "innocense"...everything I'd want to remember about that moment.

Really outstanding. Voting.

Yep, the b/w for me too. Kinda slightly misty look to your daughter adds so much-really like the process Petesie.

Hadn't seen the color version when I commented on the b&w in your other gallery, but I do prefer the b&w! Both are lovely, but the black and white is just so striking and dramatic!

Both of these are awesome. Wonderful silhouette.

Like the b&w!
Guest 01-Jul-2005 23:39
Definitely b&w ... dripping with mystery, lol! :)
Breland01-Jul-2005 23:22
The B&W is great, it lends a little mystery to the subject.

Wonderful image, I can't deside which one I like more.

I love the black and white, Petesie. The color's good, but the black and white is great.
Coleen Perilloux Landry01-Jul-2005 22:32
I meant granddaughter and cat.
Coleen Perilloux Landry01-Jul-2005 22:31
They're both great but I prefer the color as it really silhouettes you and the cat against the gorgeous sky. (And, I just like color.)
